In a recent study published in PLoS ONE, Georg Andersson, Maj Rundlöf and CAnMove PI Henrik Smith found that organic farming improved pollination success in strawberries. Not only were the pollination success higher on organic farms compared to conventional farms, but the effect was already evident just a few years after conversion from traditional to organic farming. These findings suggest that organic farming might have a positive effect on both yield quantity and quality! Read more about the study in Swedish on the blog "Miljödoktoranderna tar till Orda".
